After a disappointing season http://www.pittsburghsteelersteamstore.com/joe-haden-jersey , it should come as no surprise to note that the Pittsburgh Steelers were not particularly well represented on the AP All-Pro teams announced on Friday. A year removed from seeing four players voted as first-team All-Pro selections and one as a second-team selection, Maurkice Pouncey is the only player to receive the honor this year as part of the AP All-Pro second-team. Voted for by a panel of 50 sports writers, Peter King highlighted just how flawed the voting process can be when he made a big show out of his decision to remove Antonio Brown from his ballot as a response to him missing the Steelers Week 17 game.Perhaps the most notable slight for Pittsburgh this year is the exclusion of David DeCastro. Named first-team All-Pro in 2018, it is hard to see how his play declined this season given hedid not allow a single sack in any of the 958 snaps he played in. It says a lot about the voting process that DeCastro’s votes this year were split between left and right guard, despite not playing even one snap at left guard all year.It would also appear that Brown has taken issue with his exclusion this year, although I personally have no idea what he is trying to say with his latest tweet. A few years back Kevin Colbert put forth an idea that the BTSC draftniks have adopted as a sort of gospel truth. Paraphrasing, it goes like this:We organize each year’s BTSC Big Board on that general idea. The “Colbert Specials” go at the top regardless of position and without much of a discount. Everyone else gets dropped to the extent that Pittsburgh has no need for a player at that position. So - who are the Colbert Specials in this year’s class, and who are the clear 1st rounders that could arguably get promoted? At this point I have studied somewhere around a dozen public Boards in the process of compiling an initial BTSC Big Board, which will appear after a series of articles addressing the team’s wants and needs. The following players are those who regularly appear in the Top 10 of those all-players-for-all-teams lists:DL Ed Oliver, Houston. 6’2”, 290 lbs. Constantly compared to HOF players like Warren Sapp or future ones like Aaron Donald. On 100% of the lists.DL Quinnen Williams, Alabama. 6’3”, 285 lbs. Constantly compared to HOF players like Warren Sapp or future ones like Aaron Donald. On 100% of the lists.DL Jeffery Simmons, Miss. St. 6’4”, 300 lbs. The strongest Defensive Lineman in the draft, he’d likely be the top dog in most other classes. On around 80%-90% of the lists.EDGE Nick Bosa, Ohio St. 6’3”, 270 lbs. On 100% of the lists Authentic Chris Boswell Jersey , usually at #1 overall.CB Greedy Williams, LSU. 6’1”, 182 lbs. The best Corner in the draft. On 100% of the lists. Those five ARE Colbert Specials. Period, end of story. Write them off your wish list because it Ain’t Gonna Happen. Here’s the next tier:MACK ILB Devin White, LSU. 6’1”, 255 lbs. Monstrous ceiling based on athletic potential and a proper linebacker’s mindset, but also very raw and sometimes indecisive. On around 80% of the lists. SS/FS Deionte Thompson, Alabama. 6’2”, 196 lbs. The consensus #1 Safety in the draft. On around 70% of the lists.EDGE/BUCK ILB Josh Allen, Kentucky. 6’4”, 258 lbs. Remember the debates about LVE in 2018? Get ready for a repeat except this guy has big time Edge rushing talent as well. On around 60% of the lists but with more buzz than almost anyone. For my money those three are also Colbert Specials, bringing the total up to eight (8). I will mourn as they get picked in that 5-12 range before the Steelers could legitimately hope to trade up. Pessimistic? Me? Never. I’m going to dream about them even if I’m doomed to despair. The next group includes five (5) players that any serious film watcher could fall in love with and defend for Special status.DL Raekwon Davis, Alabama. 6’7”, 316 lbs. What Stephon Tuitt would have been as a prospect if he’d been fully healthy. On around 40%-50% of the lists.DL/EDGE Rashan Gary, Michigan. 6’5”, 283 lbs. Described by our own Nick Farabaugh as a combination of a bigger T.J. Watt and a smaller Stephon Tuitt but just as raw as either one. On around 40%-50% of the lists.EDGE Clelin Ferrell (“Furl”), Clemson. 6’5”, 260 lbs. On around 40%-50% of the lists.EDGE Jachai Polite http://www.pittsburghsteelersteamstore.com/terrell-edmunds-jersey , Florida. 6’2”, 240 lbs. On around 40%-50% of the lists.OL/TACKLE Jonah Williams, Alabama. 6’5”, 301 lbs. The safest and probably the best tackle in the class. On 40-50% of the lists. Two more D-Linemen (!), a 4-3 Edge with play in space ability, and a single offensive player who barely made the list. After that comes the Honorable Mention names who appeared 2-3 times in my research (there were another 5-10 who got mentioned only once, for what it’s worth). These include:DL Derrick Brown, Auburn. 6’4”, 316 lbs.DL Christian Wilkins, Clemson. 6’4”, 315 lbs.CB Byron Murphy, Washington. 6’0”, 175 lbs. Here are the totals out of 16 players in all:DL = 7 names, which explains why this class is already earning adjectives like “legendary”. Of course it could also be due to the four or five others that would be late- or fringe 1st rounders in any other year...Edge = 4 names, two of which fit a 4-3 better than a 3-4.CB = 2 names, one all the way at the top and the other marginal.ILB = 2 names, one a Mack and the other a freaky Edge/Buck hybridSafety = 1 nameOL = 1 nameWhat does this mean for Steeler fans? Not much in any direct sense. It’s mostly useful as a gauge for how the draft is likely to go in the 19 picks before Pittsburgh goes on the clock. First, it’s abundantly clear that this class is enormously top heavy on the defensive side Authentic Alejandro Villanueva Jersey , with an astonishing cluster of Defensive Tackles. Given the game’s recent emphasis on interior pressure it’s safe to assume that at least six of those seven will go in the Top 20. That leaves a lot of room for Pittsburgh fans, who have no need at DT, to hope for some other almost-Special to drop.Second, Steeler Nation is laser focused on the CB position but that could easily be outweighed by a BPA bargain. The only true Colbert Special is Greedy Williams and he will be looooong gone before the Steelers could even hope to trade up. When the clock rolls around toward 1:20 there are likely to be talents on the Board who are superior to the next cluster of CB’s (which our draft Board has in the 1:20 to 2:12 range FWIW).Third, the fans’ secondary focus has been on ILB. There is one player similar to Shazier (Devin White) and another who seems like a better version of Leighton Vander Esch with serious Edge Rushing chops (Josh Allen). Both men would be transformative dream picks if either came in range, and maybe worth trading up to get. The #3 ILB is Alabama’s Mack Wilson, who didn’t appear on any Top 10 lists I saw but made it onto a lot of the Top 20’s. That suggests he would be a very realistic target to hope for.Next, the Edge class could be another place where Colbert & Co. choose to go. Both Josh Allen and Jachai Polite would fit Pittsburgh to a tee, and two Edge prospects (Brian Burns and Montez Sweat) would fit just as well and appeared on at least half of the Top 20 collections. And finally, the big reaches are going to come from teams desperate for an infusion on offense. History suggests at least one or two more OL’s, at least one or two QB’s, and probably a WR or two. Let’s estimate... five (5?) offensive players in the top 19. Pittsburgh will focus on the defensive side of the ball, and it is a very defense-heavy draft. According to my speculative math that means our worst case scenario is getting a Corner who offers fair value but no real bargain. Names like Byron Murphy and Deandre Baker are leading out of the gate but they’re only a nose ahead of Amani Oruwariye, Julian Love, Kris Boyd, and 2-3 others. The best case scenario is someone you could honestly believe is a Colbert Special in Round 1 (see the list above) followed by a Round 2 trade up to obtain one of those worst-case scenario Corners.I may be doomed to disappointment but I’m going to dream! And it’s going to be fun regardless. Custom New Orleans Saints Jerseys

With the noise coming out of the Steel City louder than ever since season’s end Black Artie Burns Jersey , everybody has an opinion about the most talked-about NFL team not to make the playoffs. But what is to be believed? BTSC takes five bold statements regarding the Pittsburgh Steelers and shares their thoughts and opinions whether or not they’re fact or fiction.Mike Tomlin will resist hiring a coach to preside over replays and clock managementFictionArt II Is offering assistance to Tomlin for what is perceived to be his biggest weakness. Most coaches would let pride get in the way and say “Thanks, but no thanks”. But when the fan base is calling for your head, you follow the owner’s suggestion. Tomlin is smart and realizes that other teams have that exact position, so delegation is not a bad thing. Coach T will take the lifeline.Teams will target both Antonio Brown and Le’Veon Bell to join them in 2019FactTeams with tons of cap room and not intimately familiar with the divisiveness and less-than-selfless demeanors that accompany the mega talent that this pairing promises to offer, it may be a tough task to actually execute. I would think that the Steelers would hesitate to deal AB to an AFC team that could afford this like the New York Jets. Plus teams that could afford it have found solutions to their RB dilemma like the Browns have with Nick Chubb and the Colts have with Marlon Mack. The pairing could happen. It is unlikely, but franchises will consider it.The upcoming season will be Keith Butler’s last in PittsburghFactAfter the terrible collapse of the defense again in 2018, many a scalp in Steeler Nation has been scratched raw on why Butler remains at the Defensive Coordinator position. The best guess is that Butler’s contract runs out after next season and that they’d rather audition a possible successor like Teryl Austin than fire Butler outright. I’m still trying to wrap my head around the logic here. But all signs point to the end of the road for Butler after 2019.The loss of Mike Munchak to Denver will be devastating to the Offensive LineFictionSteeler Nation was elated when news broke that Vic Fangio won the Bronco’s job over Steeler OL coach Mike Munchak. However, Munch left in a lateral move to Denver a few days later Black Joe Haden Jersey , causing Steeler Nation to “the Sky is falling” mode. However, enter Shaun Sarrett who has been working with Munchak since 2014 and the team since 2012. Sarrett’s resum茅 may be unknown to Steeler fans, but to those in the know...the feeling is that the excellence of a line featuring three Pro Bowlers will continue under Sarrett. Gravity remains. The Steelers will welcome Ramon Foster back in 2019FactPreviously, I was certain that the Steelers would let “The Big Ragu” walk after his contract ran out. But after coming off of another solid season, with Marcus Gilbert’s injury woes continuing and Mike Munchak’s departure...It looks like No. 73 could return at a team friendly deal to help continue to be a vital link on a strong chain....How accurate will our opinions prove to be? To copy the sentiment of Antonio Brown...We will find out soon. The first quarter of the Steelers’ 2018 season was rough. Thankfully, the second quarter yielded a perfect record to top the 1-2-1 start. So as I am tasked to break out the red pen and evaluate the season’s second quarter, I no longer do it from the ledge. As I’ve stated all along, I’m not a football coach or a teacher Youth Ben Roethlisberger Jersey , but I play one in blogs and podcasts. Each week of the 2018 exhibition and regular season, I’ve graded the efforts of the Black-and-gold via “the eye test”. Grading games is an extremely difficult and somewhat thankless task. While the coaches’ grades, of course, are what count the most, the media and fans can’t help but evaluate as well. So you, the reader, get to vote as well. You even get to grade the grader in the comments section. So let’s take a look at BTSC’s perceptions of the 2018 season’s second quarter:OffenseThe Steelers’ offense is ranked fourth in the league with 415.2 ypg and ninth with a 28.4 points per game (ppg) average through eight contests. In 2017, they scored at a rate of 26.4 ppg. After an inconsistent start Youth JuJu Smith-Schuster Jersey , Randy Fichtner’s unit has resembled the juggernaut that they’ve promised to be. Ben Roethlisberger was the league’s passing leader through the first quarter (1,414 yards/353.5 yards per game), but his average has dropped 9 ypg. Despite that, he was a much better quarterback in the second quarter. He admittedly was not on the same page with everybody and now seems to be. By spreading the ball around to a myriad of guys (Antonio Brown, JuJu Smith-Schuster, Ryan Switzer, Vance McDonald, Jesse James and James Conner) and no longer forcing it to AB Black Bud Dupree Jersey , he has thrived. Ben’s offensive line wasn’t reminiscent of the high-caliber unit of past years in the first quarter, but now is playing like an elite squad. Injuries have hampered Marcus Gilbert, but Matt Feiler has filled in tremendously at RT. The remaining four of Ramon Foster, Dave DeCastro, Alejandro Villanueva and Maurkice Pouncey have been dominating oncoming defenders, protecting Ben (2 sacks allowed in the second quarter of 2018 and 11 overall) and opening gaping holes for James Conner. Mike Munchak’s guys are close to being the class of the league.Charles LeClaire-USA TODAY SportsLe’Veon Bell has been missed less and less with James Conner’s emergence as an elite back in the league with nine rushing TDs and another on a reception. No. 30’s 706 rushing yards on the ground ranks him second in the league and his 379 yards as a receiver puts him on track for a better output than Bell in 2017. His penchant for picking up the blitz no longer creates concern. Conner has done well, making Bell a likely backup upon his possible return.Charles LeClaire-USA TODAY SportsAntonio Brown is not having the receptions and yardage season that he’s accustomed to. But his nine receiving TDs leads the NFL and is only four behind his career high in 2014. Double-teaming AB has forced balls to go in other directions, mostly to JuJu Smith-Schuster. JuJu (13th in the league) leads the team with 53 catches for 672 yards versus Antonio’s 51 for 594 (T-14th). The disconnect between Ben and AB has lessened with No. 84 seemingly accepting that Ben can’t continue to force the ball into him. The deep threat that Martavis Bryant provided hasn’t yet been replicated yet Youth Chukwuma Okorafor Jersey , as Justin Hunter and James Washington haven’t seized the WR3 role. However, the rookie seems to be getting looks again.Tommy Gilligan-USA TODAY SportsThe TE duo of Jesse James (336 yards on 21 catches) and Vance McDonald (346 yards on 26 catches) has been very solid. As a unit, they’ve got a combined 47 grabs on 61 targets and their yards-after-catch have been remarkable — a combined 368. Vanimal is ranked 25th in the league with 234, while Jesse registers in at 83rd with 134.Photo by Andy Lyons/Getty ImagesOverall Offense Grade: AThe offense has found their identity. AB is scoring touchdowns and Ben is no longer trying to appease him. Conner is playing at an elite level, behind an elite line. Vance and Jesse James take turns being valuable and JuJu is a joy joy.Offensive Valedictorian: James Conner Custom Cleveland Browns Jerseys

I was no fan of the Alex Smith trade and I still am not. I thought the trade was horrible. When news of Smith’s trade to the Redskins started to leak and word of his new contract along with the news that Kendall Fuller would no longer be a Redskin here were some of my reactions:I even had this gem The women in my life have told me about being loud and wrong. Alex Smith is not making more guaranteed money than any other QB in the NFL but he is still getting paid a pretty penny. Smith’s is guaranteed 55 million dollars as a part of his new deal which makes it virtually impossible to move on from him before a couple of seasons pass. Alex Smith is 34 and is not going to get better beyond what we know his baseline of play is.Alex Smith’s career year last season was an anomaly. Andy Reid sold stock at the right time. I will not deny this is a damned if you do damned if you don’t situation for the Redskins. Kirk Cousins was gone. Colt McCoy is not a starter. The Redskins had no plans to move up in the draft and the free agent options consisted of A.J. McCarron and Case Keenum. Smith was available so they went for it. Of course they did but for God’s sake 55 million AND Kendall Fuller AND a third round pick? We don’t pay $8.99 / lb for overripe bananas folks. You shop for value and you only pay for premium and rare ingredients. Smith is not that. Aside from bananas it makes me think about locksmiths. You have lost your key (starting QB) and you need to get back into your place (be competitive and win). Your particular key is your sole resource (QBs run the offense) you do not have a stash of hidden keys nearby (You have not properly prepared to get a new QB). You call a locksmith (NFL teams) because there is no way you are breaking into your own place (field a team with no viable QB at all) and the one locksmith that is still open at 10pm (the team that is willing to trade) charges you $250 dollars to open your door because they know you basically have no other option and they are giving you a premium specialized service. I hope ya’ll followed that but here is my point. The Redskins got taken for a ride and paid full price and currently aren’t getting the value out of Smith that they paid for. I don’t think Alex Smith is a bad QB. I think he is decent but to fact of the matter to me is he is not going to get much better than he is now. We have too much on tape and paper to objectively say otherwise. Alex Smith is not playing well as a Redskin right now and it is almost halfway through the season. He may play better but the results and production will likely be marginal. I was floored by people who said it looked like he was getting more comfortable. It looked the exact opposite to me this past Sunday. Smith clearly is not comfortable in this offense or with its options. We can and do talk for hours about the quality of this team. The coach has said it best and has set the expectation for the season and for the play of this team. The team is built and they have to win right now. To me right now means RIGHT NOW like this season and at the latest next season. Alex is not Benjamin Button either and I know some of you all enjoyed that picture of him running on the ocean floor with a rock but that exercise did not improve his straight line speed or arm accuracy. But guess what? The team IS built to win now. Through a series of fortunate events this team HAS planned and lucked into some key players who are carrying this team. They ran into an ageless Adrian Peterson they have been building the defense for a few years now and those elements are carrying the team. The law of gravity applies here though and what comes up must come down. The team is not playing in a sustainable way. The team has great pieces but what if Adrian Peterson can’t play? What if one of the Bama boys gets hurt? What if the defense simply has a bad game? Who will be left to carry the team? It certainly won’t be Smith that that is what’s scary and disappointing. We can not count on our QB to play from behind. We can’t count on our QB to put the team on his back. We can’t count on our QB to make that special throw. Smith is going to compete with very few QBs in a shootout situation. You need that in the NFL to make it all the way. The Redskins don’t have it. Before you invoke Trent Dilfer or the 2017 Jaguars I will remind you it is neither 1999 (they cant even fall on guys anymore) and the Jaguars lost in the AFC title game and did not go all the way. The irony in all of this was I looked at Smith’s numbers and despite the eye test Smith is actually on pace for another Pro Bowl season. If Smith continues his current production he will finish the season with 3 Cheap Josh Norman Jersey ,688 passing yards, 18.6 TDs, 5.3 INTs, and a 62% completion rating. What is funny is if I see this guy run out of bounds on 3rd down during a close game in the 4th quarter with 200 passing yards under his belt I might blow a gasket and yet the team is winning. The bit of good news is like getting a warm pitcher of Corona at happy hour. You’ll take it but you know it isnt good for you in the long run and in the grand scheme of things. What often happens in the comments section is people will revert to the ‘why can’t you enjoy it’ argument. The team won. Shut up be happy. My friends accepting mediocrity in the face of defeat OR victory is something I can not do. There are times I watch this team play and I feel ill. I must point out where the team can do better because I love my Skins. My QB does not need to throw from 450 yards and 4 TDs for me to be happy. But I expect him to not look borderline incompetent at times, I expect him to hit open receivers, I expect him to under stand game situations, I expect him to see open receivers. These are all familiar criticisms of past Redskin starting QBs so I think I’m being pretty fair. Unfortunately I don’t expect Smith to have some sort of epiphany and but it all together next week or this season. The Redskins are first in the division that is lit AF. They are in control of their own destiny. We know there are going to be a lot of challenges. We know there are going to be tough moments where the team has to play from behind. The team will have to lift each other up and pick up the slack when things are going well for one aspect of it. The defense has proven it can do it. Now the question is can and will the offense do it for the defense when we need it most? The team may have payed $8.99/ lb for overripe bananas or payed $250 to get into their own apartment will there be times this season where the expense will finally seem worth it? I won’t hold my breath. The Super Bowl is over and we know the draft order for the 1st round and it’s time for a new round of mock drafts! We are still less than 3 weeks away from the NFL Scouting Combine and 11 weeks away from the start of the NFL draft. Most people have the Redskins taking a QB this year Cheap Derrius Guice Jersey , and some even have them trading up for one. Alex Smith is likely to miss the 2019 season, and is possibly done playing in the NFL(Don’t tell Bruce Allen that, he’ll deny anything). This is arguably a weak class for QBs, especially if you are picking in the middle of the 1st round(#15) like the Redskins will be this year. There are several potentially QB-needy teams ahead of the Redskins this year(Giants, Jaguars, Broncos, Raiders Cheap Da'Ron Payne Jersey , Dolphins), which could cause a QB run on this year’s Ponder/Locker/Gabbert collection of QBs. It’s lying season and there are plenty of rumors flying around about which QBs Washington likes.Should the Redskins draft a QB in the 1st round? Should they even consider trading up for any of this year’s QBs? HUNTERSVILLE Washington Redskins Womens Hoodie , N.C. (AP) — J.D. Gibbs, eldest son of Pro Football Hall of Fame coach Joe Gibbs, was remembered as the visionary behind the stellar career of several NASCAR stars following his death from complications a long battle with a degenerative neurological disease. He was 49.Joe Gibbs Racing announced Gibbs' death Saturday. He died Friday.Gibbs was co-founder of the NASCAR team that bears his fathers' name and he largely ran the day-to-day operations of what is now an elite organization. He stepped away from JGR in 2015 when it was announced he was suffering from "conditions related to brain function." He was president of JGR at the time and is credited with launching the career of Daytona 500 winner Denny Hamlin and spearheading the team's pivotal move to Toyota. Jason Dean Gibbs was also a staunch supporter of Tony Stewart and Kyle Busch, who won championships for the organization despite numerous skirmishes on and off the track. Stewart, a two-time champion driving for Gibbs, posted a photo from his 2002 title celebration in New York City alongside Gibbs and then-crew chief Greg Zipadelli."Heartbroken for the entire Gibbs family," Stewart wrote on social media. "J.D. was a great person — a family man who loved sports & racing in particular. He played a big part in my career, both as a driver & as a team owner. When he asked how you were doing, he genuinely cared. I'll miss that the most."Hamlin, who was found by Gibbs racing short tracks in Virginia Womens Customized Washington Redskins Jerseys , posted a photo sitting next to Gibbs before his 2006 Cup debut. Lurking just over Gibbs' shoulder is Hamlin's father, who told Gibbs that day ‘He's all yours now.'"I will always be grateful for what his family did for mine and the opportunity he gave me 14 years ago," Hamlin wrote.Gibbs played defensive back and quarterback at William & Mary from 1987-90 while his father coached the Washington Redskins, a team he led to three Super Bowl titles. He transitioned into NASCAR and the family business when the elder Gibbs launched his NASCAR team in 1992.Gibbs was eventually co-chairman of JGR, but began with the organization as a part-time driver and over-the-wall crew member. He made 13 NASCAR national series starts between 1998 and 2002."We were privileged to watch J.D. Gibbs grow within the sport, displaying an endearing personality, a keen eye for talent and the strong business acumen that helped grow Joe Gibbs Racing into a preeminent NASCAR team," said NASCAR Chairman Jim France. "The NASCAR family has lost a truly special member."Washington owner Dan Snyder and wife Tanya say they are "heartbroken for the J.D. Gibbs family" and "for anyone who had the honor and privilege to know J.D., he was instantly recognized as a champion in life and sports."Gibbs is survived by wife Melissa and four sons. LANDOVER, Md. (AP) — Julio Jones set his sights on the end zone www.redskinscheapstore.com , twisted to break a tackle and lunged toward the promised land.A swarm of teammates rushed over from the sideline, jumping around in jubilation to celebrate the end of the star receiver's 12-game touchdown drought.Jones was back in the end zone where he belongs, and the Atlanta Falcons looked like the team they were predicted to be in a 38-14 blowout of the Washington Redskins on Sunday that extended their winning streak to three games. "We're a brotherhood," said Jones, who made seven receptions for 121 yards and caught his first TD pass since Nov. 26, 2017."We support one another. If anybody scores, I'm trying to be the first one over there. Nobody hates on each other on this team. Everybody loves when other people go out here and excel and make plays."The Falcons (4-4) made plenty of plays in flexing their offensive muscles with the kind of balanced attack they've lacked in an injury-marred season that so far has failed to live up to expectations. Matt Ryan completed 26 of 38 passes for 350 yards and four touchdowns, including the 35-yard screen to Jones that set off a team-wide celebration.Even though losing four of its first five games didn't give Atlanta much to celebrate, putting up 491 yards on Washington has players excited about their current position and what more they can accomplish this season."The start to the season was not what we were looking for, but we're halfway through it Washington Redskins T-Shirt , we're 4-4 and we're in the mix," said Ryan, who had touchdown passes of 39 and 10 yards to running back Tevin Coleman and a 40-yarder to rookie receiver Calvin Ridley ."The good football teams that I've been a part of in my career are the ones that have gotten better as the year's gone along. Halfway through, I think we're a better football team than we were at the start and we've got to keep it trending in that direction."Nowhere is that progress more evident than on the ground, where Coleman ran for 80 yards and Ito Smith had 66 yards and a rushing touchdown. The Falcons surpassed 100 yards rushing for the first time since Week 2."The big guys, they put the work in," said coach Dan Quinn, whose team didn't punt until midway through the third quarter and converted its first eight third-down opportunities. "We know we are at our best when both the run game and our pass game are in balance. And today we had that, and the results were there."Atlanta's 30th-ranked defense did its part, too Washington Redskins Hats , holding Washington to 35 first-quarter yards and making a crucial stop after Ryan was picked off by Quinton Dunbar — just the quarterback's third interception this season. The NFC East-leading Redskins (5-3) could blame poor tackling, ill-timed penalties and a series of injuries along the offensive line for the end of their three-game winning streak.Already without left tackle Trent Williams after surgery to repair his dislocated right thumb, Washington lost left guard Shaun Lauvao to a left knee injury, right guard Brandon Scherff to a left shoulder injury and struggled to stop the Falcons when it mattered."It wasn't the preparation, just the executing," Washington safety D.J. Swearinger said. "Got to be better. Got to be disciplined. Got to be disciplined in our efforts."Swearinger and other players blamed officials for part of the Redskins' disciplinary trouble that added up to 10 penalties for 147 yards.Adrian Peterson was held to 17 yards on nine carries a week after rushing for 149 yards at the New York Giants. Alex Smith was 30 of 46 for 306 yards, an interception and a touchdown pass to Josh Doctson.KAZEE'S PICK AND THROWFalcons safety Damontae Kazee effectively ended any chances of a Redskins comeback when he picked off Smith with about seven minutes left. After the season Youth B.J. Hill Jersey , New York Giants general manager Dave Gettleman put the onus for the failed season on the defensive side of the ball. And there was some truth in that -- The Giants are stocked with talent at the offensive skill positions, but they need to invest resources to add talent to the defensive side of the ball. Some of that will surely be acquiring top-tier talent and playmakers, but they will also look to invest some of their (many) late-round picks in players who might be a good return on investment. Temple defensive lineman Michael Dogbe will likely fly under the radar in a draft class which is absolutely stacked with talent on the defensive front, but he could be the type of sleeper for which the Giants are looking.MeasurablesHeight: 6-foot-3Weight: 280ProsCompact, powerful lineman.Very strong. Stands up double teams and can over-power single blockers. Shows good hand usage. Constantly using hands to create space and work past blockers.Flashes several pass rushing moves. Plays all over the defensive line, from defensive end to nose tackle. Wears a single-digit number.ConsLength will be a concern for some teams.Lateral agility is an issue.First step is okay, but not great. Pass rushing upside is a question.Frame could be maxed out.Numbers Of NoteStatistics from Dan PizzutaDogbe was 10th among all defensive tackles in pressures last season with 30, per Sports Info Solutions. His six solo sacks tied for third and his seven total sacks were fewer than onlyColorado’s Mustafa Johnson. Dogbe also led all NCAA defensive tackles with three forced fumbles in 2018.Prospect VideoWhat They’re Saying “An undersized interior defensive lineman, Dogbe was highly disruptive and energetic, blowing through gaps and wreaking havoc behind the line of scrimmage. He even saw a couple reps off the edge, showing good hand usage to corner. Interesting player who will likely need to prove his versatility consistently to have a shot in the NFL.”- Jon Ledyard (The Draft Network, Shrine Game practice notes)Does He Fit The Giants? He does. The Giants acquired quite a few defensive linemen last year who play a similar role to Dogbe -- that is Youth Saquon Barkley Jersey , a defensive lineman who can line up across the defensive line depending on down, distance, and sub package. He isn’t as tall as players like Kerry Wynn, Josh Mauro, or R.J. McIntosh, but he is as powerful as any of them and uses his hands well to keep his chest clean. Lateral agility is an issue for him, and while he can show a good first step, he isn’t truly explosive. That might limit him as a pass rusher, but his power, leverage, and ability to When I listed Dogbe’s strengths, the last one was “wears a single-digit number.” That isn’t a strength in and of itself http://www.authenticsnewyorkgiants.com/cheap-rhett-ellison-jersey , but when you see a Temple defender wearing a single digit, it conveys all kinds of things. It is school short-hand for a player who is tough, hard-nosed, has a non-stop motor, is always one of the hardest working guys on the field. Dogbe probably won’t have the pre-draft rise that players like Muhammed Wilkerson or Haason Reddick had, but he could be a sleeper to keep your eye on. Damon Harrison took the field Thursday for his new team, where he will be asked to help solve the defensive woes against the run for the Detroit Lions. The trade for the defensive tackle was announced Thursday by the teams. Detroit will send a draft pick to the New York Giants.Just as in New York, Harrison wore his No. 98 with the Lions on Thursday, practicing on the same field as he did during a joint Lions and Giants session in August. To make room for "Snacks" Harrison, the Lions released defensive tackle Sylvester Williams. Williams was acquired as a free agent this offseason and had six tackles in six games for Detroit. The 29-year-old Harrison spent the past three seasons with the Giants. He began his career with the Jets in 2012 after being undrafted out of William Penn. He was a 2016 All-Pro selection.Harrison joined the Giants as a free agent in 2016, signing a five-year, $46 million contract. The seven-year veteran never missed a game in his 2陆 years http://www.authenticsnewyorkgiants.com/cheap-connor-barwin-jersey , starting 39 times. He had 31 tackles and a forced fumble this season. The Lions (3-3) host Seattle on Sunday. They have the 30th-ranked rush defense in the NFL, allowing 139.3 yards per game. The defensive line has been without end Ziggy Ansah for all but the opener.Harrison will be reunited with two New York defensive teammates from last season, defensive end Romeo Okwara and linebacker Devon Kennard. This is the Giants' second trade this week. They sent cornerback Eli Apple, a 2016 first-round selection, to New Orleans for two picks on Tuesday. The Giants (1-6), who have four wins in their past 23 regular-season games, host Washington on Sunday.New York also waived offensive tackle Ereck Flowers, its 2015 first-round pick, on Oct. 9.

The New York Giants won their fourth game in five tries on Sunday http://www.giantscheapshops.com/cheap-authentic-connor-barwin-jersey , blowing out the Washington Redskins at FedEx Field. The win improved the Giants record to 5-8 on the season, three games behind the Dallas Cowboys for first place in the NFC East. Every week, Tankathon.com comes out with its NFL Draft Power Rankings. Following Big Blue's win against the Redskins, the Giants dropped three spots on the list, from No. 11 to No. 14. Their current value, according to the rankings, is 2096.7. Value is determined by the points associated with each pick per the traditional trade value chart. The Giants are the highest team on the list from the NFC East. Here’s a look at the Top 15 teams on the list. If the season were to end today, the Giants would have the No. 9 selection in the 2019 NFL Draft. Bleacher Report writer Zach Buckley came out with his 2019 NFL Mock Draft on Tuesday, highlighting who he believed each team would take in the first round. According to Buckley Cheap Will Hernandez Jersey , the Giants will select Ohio State quarterback Dwayne Haskins with the No. 9 pick. Here’s a look at how the Top 15 picks. While it’s easy to look towards the draft with the Giants being 5-8 on the season, there is still a chance for the playoffs if the Giants were to win out. While it’s a long shot, it’s still great to see the team play well down the stretch. Playoffs or not, follow Big Blue View for all the coverage. The Divisional Round is usually one of the most exciting weekends of the NFL season, but what we got instead was three games that were never really in doubt and one close game to round out the weekend. Still, there are a few takeaways we can find from these games as we turn toward crowning a conference champion this weekend. The pass set up the runAll of the winning teams this weekend did a great job running the ball, but not all of them ran the ball to win. There’s going to be a lot of looking at the final rushing numbers with some concluding the ground game was the reason these teams won, but like many instances, these teams got to run because they were winning and so much of that running was set up by the passing game. The Kansas City Chiefs took a 7-0 lead on their first drive with gains of 11 Cheap Eli Manning Jersey , 16, and 34 through the air. Kansas City also had the biggest pass-to-run ratio of the weekend on 1st and 10 in the first half — 12 passes against just four rushes — and they averaged 9.25 yards per play on those. 16 of Damien Williams’s 24 rushing attempts and 87 of his 129 rushing yards came in the second half of the game when the Chiefs started with a 24-7 lead.In Los Angeles, the Rams have been using the passing game to open up lanes on the ground throughout the Sean McVay era. With a consistent look of 11 personnel (three wide receivers) and tight splits (receivers inside the numbers), the Rams use the threat of the pass to create advantageous running opportunities with their offensive line against light boxes. Even as the Rams were successful on the ground, C.J. Anderson faced a box of eight defenders or more on just 17.4 percent of his attempts Saturday night, per Next Gen Stats. Todd Gurley saw a stacked box on just 6.3 percent of his attempts. Those splits are really all you should need to see what defenses focus on to stop the run — and it’s not the back.New England jumped out to a 35-7 halftime lead with 31 drop backs and 18 rushing attempts. That lead was gained through the air. The Patriots barely topped a 50-50 run-pass split in the second half with 13 pass attempts against 14 non-Brady kneels rushing attempts.Chargers kept it lightAgainst the Baltimore Ravens last week, the Chargers played almost exclusively with seven defensive backs on the field to match the speed of Lamar Jackson and the rest of the Baltimore offense. They stuck with that defense to start against the Patriots, but the problem there is New England doesn’t have the same athletes and the offense is a little more traditional. There doesn’t need to be an extra defensive back to account for the quarterback on runs because — I’m not sure if you’ve ever seen Tom Brady — that quarterback isn’t going anywhere. The strategy hit a bump early when safety Adrian Phillips got injured, though he returned to play 72 percent of the defensive snaps.During the regular season http://www.giantscheapshops.com/cheap-authentic-riley-dixon-jersey , the Patriots faced just 14 plays against seven defensive backs on the field per Sports Info Solutions — three rushes for 32 yards, eight passes for 38 yards, and three sacks. But New England went into this game prepared for an all-DB defense and the Chargers had no counter once things didn’t go their way.Ghosts of Monday nights pastNow deep into the playoffs, we have moved away from the ESPN Monday Night Football crew and any inane commentary that goes along with it and, oh no.(breathes deeply)The Rams thing is just, wow. How anyone could think that offensive line was a liability heading into the weekend is amazing and there’s no possible way to think that after the Dallas game. The Rams were first in Adjusted Line Yards during the regular season — by a fair amount — and first in ESPN’s Pass Block Win Rate as a whole with the No. 1 tackle, No. 3 guard, and No. 5 center, individually. Even the LA run defense Cheap Sterling Shepard Jersey , which was 28th in DVOA, hasn’t been that much of a liability because the pass defense was good (ninth in DVOA) and rarely did rushing attempts matter against the Rams because they were always ahead (see the game against Dallas).Kansas City’s secondary has also been the better part of the Chiefs’ defense. The Chiefs were 12th against the pass by DVOA, but 32nd against the run, so if there was a run defense that could be a liability it was in Kansas City. The Eagles’ secondary has been patched together, but they finished the season 15th in pass defense DVOA. Their struggles against the Saints on Sunday had more to do with static zone coverage on long third downs and not adjusting for things like Michael Thomas sitting wide open in the hole in coverage rather than being completely outmatched.Get ready for pointsThe playoffs have been pretty chalky this season — both Conference Championship Games feature the No. 1 and No. 2 seed — but there could not be a better set of games than what we’re going to get this coming weekend. The four teams left were first, second, fourth, and fifth in offensive DVOA this season. Week 9 gave us a 45-35 Saints win over the Rams in New Orleans and Week 6 gave us a 43-40 Patriots win over the Chiefs in New England. These offenses are going to light up the scoreboard and we’re in for a Super Bowl shootout no matter who plays — though we should all rooting for Chiefs-Rams Part 2.

I’m running out of funny videos to post http://www.49ersauthorizedshops.com/authentic-george-kittle-jersey , but I’m going to keep scraping the bottom of the barrell for as long as this keeps up. The sad part about the game is when the Arizona Cardinals took the field today, I immediately knew what was about to happen. The Cardinals game was a show of just how depleted the 49ers are of talent and how the loss of Jimmy Garoppolo has crippled this team. There’s not a doubt in my mind with the Cardinals defense on the field today and the way Garoppolo can move the ball down the field, the 49ers could have gotten into field goal range and not muffed a snap.C.J. Beathard isn’t a bad quarterback, he’s a backup quarterback thrust into a situation that is almost unfair. If he could be a starting quarterback, he wouldn’t be the backup, it’s simple as that. He held onto the ball today hesitating to pull the trigger (why? Were the turnovers scaring him?) and all I could think was “Garoppolo could make that throw in his sleep.” Anyways, what’s done is done. We have three days and we get to watch the Oakland Raiders play the 49ers in what is going to be very low-ratings game unless it’s Raiders or 49ers fans watching. I know a lot of people are happy with the loss as it helps with draft positioning, but I feel like the team itself would rather get a couple of wins in order to feel progress from 2017. Especially since this was one of those heartbreaking losses the 49ers seem to love to put themselves through. Alright, enough griping. We need to get our minds off it. So I have some Street Fighter troll videos to close out the night. The 49ers are in a rebuild, they are in much better hands than when Jim Tomsula was running things. We just have to keep telling ourselves that. Stay faithful, my friends. First impressions go a long way. Players on both squads had to make do through windy, drizzly conditions, immediately putting them on the spot for what is the biggest stage in many of their young careers. Some rose to the challenge, other left more to be desired throughout the week. SouthDefensive lineLet’s start from the ground up. Off the edge, Montez Sweat (Mississippi State) was a terror in 1-on-1 drills. Sporting a lanky 6-foot-6, 250 pound frame with 35 and 5/8 inch arms, Sweat looks like a stretched-out cartoon character Earl Mitchell jersey , but plays like a controlled beast. Sweat showed a number of times in drills the ability to set up offensive linemen to expose their chest, then fire forward to blow them off the ball. His combination of raw power mixed with just the right amount of craftiness lead to a great first day for Sweat. Though not quite as impressive as the monstrous Sweat, is fellow edge rusher Jaylon Ferguson (Louisiana Tech). Ferguson is a thicker, less explosive rusher, but showed a number of times throughout the day that he could keep offensive tackles off balance with his hand placement and strength.Carl Granderson (Wyoming) may also be of note, but not necessarily for the 49ers. Granderson put up a few great reps in run drills, which complements his tackle for loss numbers in college, but looked a smidge stiff as a pass rusher. He did not look to thrive in getting around the edge comfortably. If teams want a Michael Johnson type, they could keep an eye on him. The standout interior lineman on the day was Daylon Mack (Texas A&M). A former high school and college freshman standout, Mack never finished his college career the way many hoped. Regardless, Mack made a knockout first impression in Mobile, blowing just about every lineman he faced off the ball with ease. His low center of gravity and natural power proved to be too much for many OL to handle. LinebackerMoving to linebacker, maybe the clearest picture of a player painted during Day One was of Terrill Hanks (New Mexico State). Linebacker drills are largely useless in Mobile, and may be the toughest guys to evaluate during the practices, but their 1-on-1 coverage drills can be useful. Hanks showed the duality of a cover linebacker. On one rep, Hanks got dusted by a running back on an out route, but followed it up on his next rep by crushing his opponent trying to run a drag route. Thankfully Hanks made up some ground from his out-route-fiasco with great work in the team run drills. David Long Jr (West Virginia) Authentic K'Waun Williams jersey , to nobody’s surprise, appeared to be the most fluid guy in space. His ability to pass off zones and collapse to ball carrier’s in the quick game was impressive, but also the exact type of play to be expected of a small linebacker such as himself. CornerbackThe South cornerbacks as a whole had issues sticking to their opponents. With a slew of talented wide receivers on the South roster, a Day One practice can favor the wide receivers, so the hope is that the group bounces back Day Two and provides more competition. If anyone, the primary standout would be Isaiah Johnson (Houston). Johnson is the Legion of Boom style cornerback that Robert Saleh could be looking for opposite Richard Sherman. More so than his peers, Johnson was able to stick to opposing receivers and remain in position to work for the ball when it came time. SafetyAt safety, the Kentucky duo of Mike Edwards and Darius West made it clear they should be zone corners. Now, plenty of teams can make that work just fine, but neither Edwards or West looked great in mirroring in 1-on-1s or breaking with the tight ends. They appeared more capable as players who could play from their heels and approach what is laid out in front of them. Juan Thornhill (Virginia) had a disappointing day given his draft stock. Thornhill is viewed by many as a versatile, safety-cornerback hybrid, but Thornhill too looked slow in keeping up with opposing tight ends. It may have been the conditions, but Thornhill just did not have the best time in matching his opposition athletically. Hopefully he can recover in Day Two because he is a clearly capable player on film. NorthDefensive lineThe North’s defensive line roster is 鈥?peculiar. The interior defensive line group is no less mixed than in previous years, but there is hardly any true edge talent for the North to display. Zach Allen (Boston College), for example, is a quality prospect who showed out in his first day in Mobile, but weighed in at 280 pounds. In essence Youth Joe Staley jersey , Allen is Solomon Thomas size, which is not what the 49ers are looking for. Guys like LJ Collier (TCU), Anthony Nelson (Iowa), and Charles Omenihu (Texas) fall into a similar category. However, a few interior defensive linemen were of interest, if the 49ers so choose to bolster that position. Renell Wren (Arizona State) was a wrecking ball in 1-on-1 reps. Wren blasted a number of different offensive linemen off the ball, primarily from the nose position, and created absolute terror from the middle of the defense. It is not a flashy job, but having a standout nose can go a long way in the NFL. On the other hand, Byron Cowart (Maryland) reminded of a familiar, ever-repeating draft story: supreme athlete who does not really know what to do with his athleticism. Cowart is not a Robert Nkemdiche-level prospect, but he suffers from the same mishaps and inconsistency. LinebackerGermaine Pratt (North Carolina State) was more or less the player he was assumed to be. In coverage, Pratt showed plenty of range and movement skills to keep up with all kinds of skill players. He showed the ability to collapse on check down options as well as follow guys in space. And lucky for Pratt, the 11-on-11 drills do not really incentivize offensive linemen to crush linebackers, so Pratt may scoot by without that being much of a problem for him this week. Just behind Pratt, Te’von Coney (Notre Dame) had a solid day through drills and 11-on-11s save for a passing drill in which he completely left a defender free in the flats. Still, he overall had a good showing. CornerbackMaybe the most frustrating player on the day was Amani Oruwariye (Penn State). Among all cornerbacks on the day 49ers Arik Armstead Jersey , Oruwariye was the best in keeping pace with opposing receivers and sticking right to their hip pockets, not giving them an inch. However, Oruwariye could not find the ball at all, be it on curl routes or down the field. It was a conflicting day for the heralded cornerback, but at least you would rather he constantly be in position so many times than blatantly being cooked. The other standout cornerback was Kris Boyd (Texas), not for being outstanding, but playing true to his identity so perfectly. Boyd excelled in press and had no restraint in trying to scrap with players throughout routes. Conversely, Boyd showed a tendency to open his hips a tad early and get beat with some crafty early route running. It is on him to show some more versatility moving forward. SafetyArguably the most disappointing performance of the day was Nasir Adderley (Deleware). A wildly versatile player in college, Adderley struggled to play in short zones and in man-to-man during practice. Adderely simply did not seem ready for the challenge of quicker, bigger, stronger players than he may have been used to. Granted, this does not take away from Adderley’s excellent range as a one-high safety, but it does partly dispel the notion of him being an all-around versatile safety. Darnell Savage (Maryland), on the other hand, was the only player out there who could deal with wide receiver Andy Isabella in any capacity. Isabella gave almost everyone the work with his shifty route running, but Savage showed patience against Isabella and was able to contest catch points against him. Most other defensive backs out there were lucky to be within five yards by the time the ball got to Isabella.

Coming off a big win against the Raiders Youth DeForest Buckner Jersey , there’s good reason to be excited about the outlook for the rest of the season. CJ Beathard’s replacement at quarterback provided a much-needed spark to a team that seemed destined to lose out through 2018 - albeit against a team that is probably destined to lose out through 2018. Is it too soon off the high of the victory to declare the win “fool’s gold” and resume keeping both eyes on the offseason? Long answer short, we’ve just got to wait. The Raiders defense is bad. Like, really bad. Unbelievably bad. Their coverage of the passing game was horrible - frequently blown coverages aside, the Raiders seemed to have difficulty scheming their players into position, or making plays when the chance was available. Going simply by the eye-test and a 24+ hour memory of the game, it seemed like the Raiders were consistently sending a minimum of five defenders at the undrafted QB who was playing his first game in the NFL. Obviously, it’s not an ill-advised strategy, but the anemic Raiders pass rush (which had the potential to be gamebreakingly devastating just a few short season ago by teaming Khalil Mack with Aldon Smith) relied on volume of bodies, because they just didn’t have the juice to win on individual matchups. This strategy left the secondary undermanned, which likely contributed to Mullens’ big day through the air. Credit is certainly due to Mullens for beating the blitz regularly, and criticism is more than deserved for the Raiders secondary who seemed out-of-position throughout much of the game.Back to the thesis - was the W against the Raiders fool’s gold? Mullens put together some solid tape in his first start, but we’re left with a chicken-and-egg conundrum. Is Mullens’ success due to innate intangibles that will translate from opponent to opponent, or did he manage to Matt Flynn himself into relevance by the fortune of being slotted in for Raiders week? I wish I had a better answer for you, but we’re stuck with “sample size!” as perhaps the best answer right now. Considering that Kyle Shanahan has yet to name a starting QB for next week, there exists a chance that this sample size may not increase for quite some time.Week 9 review | Maiocco, NBC Sports Bay Area | Biderman, Ninerswire | Biderman (2) Jimmy Garoppolo jersey , Ninerswire | Madson, Ninerswire | Madson (2), NinerswireRaheem Mostert, Emmanuel Moseley to IR | Maiocco, NBC Sports Bay Area | KNBR Staff | Biderman, Ninerswire | Madson, NinerswireNick Mullens by the numbers | Johnson, NBC Sports Bay AreaKyle Shanahan on why Nick Mullens went undrafted | KNBR StaffGeorge Kittle by the numbers | Johnson, NBC Sports Bay AreaGeorge Kittle’s breakout season | Almquist, KNBRMike McGlinchey on the coin toss that sent him to the 49ers | Chan, NBC Sports Bay AreaKyle Shanahan waiting to decide who starts at QB next | Maiocco, NBC Sports Bay Area | Biderman, Ninerswire I haven’t actually watched the San Francisco 49ers’ Week 7 loss to the Los Angeles Rams, at least not in its entirety, nor did I see any of it live. But I’m looked at plenty of film and the game was ... somehow uglier than I’d heard, and I think everyone here is well aware of how low my expectations can be.49ers quarterback C.J. Beathard was sacked seven times for a loss of 49 yards. He threw a pair of interceptions and lost a fumble. It was as ugly as ugly gets, and I am Authentic Mike McGlinchey jersey , of course, here to take you through some film review of the sacks allowed. For this film review, I’m primarily used one .gif per sack, as the coaches’ film angles tended to be pretty good this time around. Al of note: if any of the gifs below appear tiny, click on them or try and open them up in a new tab. Not sure if that issue has been fixed yet.Assigning blame is a favorite pastime of mine, so let’s keep the intro short and jump right in.10:07 of 1st Quarter, 2nd-and-16 from SF 45: Beathard sacked for -3 yards (Samson Ebukam)Right out of the gate, we get an ugly one. This play resulted in a fumble that the Rams recovered. The initial pressure is given up by Weston Richburg, though Mike Person also loses his man at right guard. The sack eventually goes to Mike McGlinchey’s man, but it was after Beathard had been driven out of the pocket by the pressure. George Kittle is open right away on this play, early enough to where Beathard could fire it off on a timing route and get it over the linebackers — but it’s not a timing route as Beathard is staring down his outside man on the left the entire time. But it’s hard to fault him given how quickly he was under pressure. It appears as though he’s going for Kittle when he’s on the run, but the ball comes out shaky as he’s hit.3:32 of 1st Quarter, 3rd-and-11 from LA 27: Beathard sacked for -11 yards (Cory Littleton)There had to have been some kind of miscommunication here on the part of the offensive line and fullback Kyle Juszczyk. McGlinchey goes to block the outside man, as does Juszczyk, and the blitzing player goes right between them. It’s also possible Richburg wasn’t supposed to kick to his left, but it really seems like Juszczyk was the one out of position on this play. As far as what’s happening downfield, at the time Beathard finishes his drop back Youth Dante Pettis jersey , he has the dump-off option underneath, but it’s a 3rd-and-11. There’s little chance that play gets converted, as the other three routes are still developing by the time Beathard is getting pressured. It does seem odd that Beathard doesn’t try to dump that ball over the blitzing player, but given his earlier turnover, I suppose it makes sense.13:40 of 2nd Quarter, 3rd-and-13 from SF 22: Beathard sacked for -6 yards (Aaron Donald) Here, the entire pocket collapses — I can’t tell for sure but it feels like Beathard is supposed to take another step or two back, just given the way the offensive line yielded space on the play. Beathard is eventually sacked by Donald, who beats both Laken Tomlinson and Richburg on the play, while Person blocks his man into McGlinchey, allowing McGlinchey’s man to get around, so he’s right there too. Both underneath options were obviously open and available, but again it was a long third down. Beathard’s inside man on the left side finds a soft spot in the zone, and well in time for Beathard to throw it, but Beathard never looked his way.15:00 of 3rd Quarter, 1st-and-10 from SF 25: Beathard sacked for -9 yards (Donald)This one is just ugly. When Beathard finishes his route, his deep receiver has about 5 yards of buffer to work with. McGlinchey takes his man all the way around http://www.49ersauthorizedshops.com/authentic-fred-warner-jersey , and Beathard trips as he’s trying to get away from McGlinchey’s man. You can also see, in the .gif below, Juszczyk trying reeeeeeeeally hard to not get pushed back, but he gets pushed far. This one zooms out pretty quickly, so I’ve included the other angle below:3:29 of 3rd Quarter, 3rd-and-7 from LA 25: Beathard sacked for -8 yards (Littleton) The Rams rush six, and Juszczyk picks up his man well, but he turns him to his right, where Person is essentially blocking nobody (he is beaten badly off the snap), leaving Tomlinson and Richburg collapsing far to the right as well. When Beathard finishes his dropback, he’s got receivers open underneath, but the Rams are so good at closing I’m fairly certain they would have managed to pick it if the ball were thrown to the center option, which is where Beathard was looking when he was pressured.13:44 of 4th Quarter, 1st-and-10 from SF 9: Beathard sacked for -5 yards (Donald) Joe Staley goes far out to his left, and Tomlinson is so slow off the snap that Michael Brockers manages to get right by him. Raheem Mostert throws his body in there, but he basically bounced right off of Brockers and into Beathard. Person and Richburg do well on the play, but both Garrett Celek and McGlinchey are beaten fairly soundly on the other side.As far as Beathard Solomon Thomas jersey , it’s a play action, and he has virtually no time to throw the ball, though he has multiple options if any of them happen to be timing routes — he’d have enough time to throw. But it’s hard to fault him on it, as pretty much everyone was slow off the snap. Everyone wearing white, at least.9:56 of 4th Quarter, 3rd-and-5 from SF 40: Beathard sacked for -9 yards (Donald) The Rams show an all-out blitz, but they end up rushing five. Juszczyk, McGlinchey, Staley, Tomlinson and Person all hold up their ends of the bargain ... but Richburg can’t contain Donald, who beats him one-on-one, as expected. You can see the finer details of that sack below. Beathard makes a mistake here — he has an open man with space to his left, but pump fakes instead of letting it fly. That would have been a big pickup.

Update your rosters http://www.authenticspittsburghsteelers.com/cheap-david-decastro-jersey , a couple Steelers have changed their jersey numbers Since writing for this lovely site, I have often told people in written, and audio, form to not buy any jersey until the regular season begins. Why?Because sometimes jersey numbers change. When players are cut, or released, and their jersey number becomes available, sometimes other teammates would want to swap numbers. This offseason the Steelers had a lot of jersey number turnover http://www.authenticspittsburghsteelers.com/cheap-jordan-berry-jersey , especially in the secondary. Joe Haden snagged Mike Mitchell’s vacated No. 23. Sean Davis picked up Haden’s vacated No. 21. And Mike Hilton traded in his No. 31 for No. 28. It can all be very confusing, but there have been a few more jersey number changes. When Ryan Switzer came to Pittsburgh via trade, he wore No. 18. The No. 10 he coveted was currently being used by Undrafted Rookie Free Agent Quadree Henderson, but when Henderson failed to make the 53-man roster, largely due to Switzer’s acquisition, Switzer is now claiming the vacated No. 10.Switzer’s change in jersey number wasn’t the only number change for the Steelers. Free-agent tackle, Zach Banner http://www.authenticspittsburghsteelers.com/cheap-chris-boswell-jersey , who came in midway through training camp, has decided to go with No. 72 for his new number. For now, the jersey numbers are finalized, but we know with life in the NFL, that can change at any minute. Former first-round cornerback Artie Burns has had a tumultuous 2018 season so far that came to a head Sunday when he did not play a defensive snap. Pittsburgh Steelers fans were confused why Burns did not play defense even after starting cornerback Coty Sensabaugh left the game late with a foot injury and Cameron Sutton took his place. Then the reports surfaced how Burns was benched due to being late to a walkthrough. After the report surfaced, fans wondered why the double standards when running back Le’Veon Bell played during Jacksonville Jaguars playoff game in January when he missed all but five minutes of a walkthrough. Why was head coach Mike Tomlin flaunting double standards? Was Burns sat due to Tomlin sending a strong message to players on them breaking team rules would not be tolerated:Was Bell given favorable treatment due to his superstar status and the enormity of the playoff game?If the two players committed the same infraction, why not hold their feet to the same fire? There is one significant difference between the two situations. One instance was excused http://www.authenticspittsburghsteelers.com/cheap-ramon-foster-jersey , while the other one was not. This is a fact which seems to have been lost this week.Tomlin addressed Burns being late on Tuesday.“He had a good week of practice last week. I don’t want to make more out of it than it is,” Tomlin said. “He was late. We wanted to be focused with the guys that were wired in and appropriately where they needed to be in the hours leading up to kickoff. He suffered the consequences of that.”While the Steelers did not need Burns in a 33-18 crushing of their division rival Cleveland Browns, his tardiness was not excused. On the other hand, Bell stated how his tardiness was known by Tomlin and others, and was never refuted or punished by Tomlin.“I had personal reasons,” Bell said. “Obviously, Coach T and everyone knew. Whoever made the report was trying to make me look bad to the public or whatever. Obviously Youth Jon Bostic Jersey , the coaches and everybody knew what was going on in my life at that moment. I showed up when I did and I came to work.”Tomlin is not playing favorites here, nor is he showing double standards for the same infraction. The situations are not the same and he handled them differently. Tomlin should never excuse the breaking of team rules for any player under any circumstance when it is not excused, and should hand out the punishment he sees fit. It is up to Coach Tomlin to decide which situations are excused and which ones are not. Bell is doing a good enough job with making himself look bad in the Steelers fans eyes without fans comparing the two different circumstances. Custom Philadelphia Eagles Jerseys
